Steering Committee continued to adjust committee membership to ensure broad-based representation accounting for faculty and staff preferences

III. Process for Creating a Closed and Open Network For Compiling and Distributing the

Completed Self-Study and Supporting Documents

Jerry Scheerer and Carol Henrichs led the discussion regarding a secure network for writing and compiling the Self-Study and ultimately placing the Self-Study and supporting documents on the VC Web site.Jerry Scheerer demonstrated accessing the SACS Web site and its resources and college web sites displaying self-studies and supporting documents.The committee agreed that displaying the Self-Study and important supporting documents on the VC Web would be the goal.Marilyn, Jerry and Carol will design a system to facilitate this process for the committee's review and revision as needed.

IV. The Process for Data Collection

Jerry Scheerer will serve as the Data Coordinator for the Self-Study process. He will draft guidelines for the data collection process for the committee's approval.

V.2001-2002 Budget Needs

The committee agreed that a laptop and copier should be requested in next year's budget.
