Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 1:06 p.m.

Scheerer created a link on the Victoria College Self-Study website called DRAFT Self-Study Report where final DRAFT reports may be viewed by College personnel. When Byerly asked how current the reports would be, Hummel stated that drafts would not be posted until after the 2nd critique by the Committee with the revisions by the Chairs and review by the G. Hall, M. Hall and Hummel.

G. Hall asked about the status of the memorandum to Dr. Goodson regarding the issue of Committee members evaluating subcommittee members and was informed that tomorrow a draft would be available to discuss.

Critique of Subsection V.4: Critique of Subsection 5.4 was completed. Garrett will rewrite a few paragraphs and change some wording as well as delete some content.

There were no Recommendations or Suggestions to address.

Critique of Subsection V.1: Before critiquing began, Blundell stated that Stewart made a multitude of changes to this section, especially to 5.1.1 D and E, which were completely rewritten. The website pages have all changed for the library; therefore, the works cited and references throughout will need to change. Blundell will also remove the screen numbers in the citations.

The Committee suggested rephrasing a few sentences and Scheerer will rewrite a small section. Blundell will incorporate Stewart's changes and will bring those changes back to the Committee for review. The Recommendation changes follow.

Recommendation 5.1.1 C: That the Library develop a more comprehensive evaluation method to determine the usefulness, availability, and relevance of resources and services for faculty, staff, and students, such as an online survey which would be particularly convenient for students who enroll predominantly in off-campus and online courses.

Change: get rewording from Blundell

Adjustment of Critiquing Schedule: Tomorrow the Committee will begin with 5.1.2. Section I is moved to Friday.

Robinson asked when the report would be sent to SACS. Hummel answered it would be sent in the Fall, perhaps as late as November, and the Addendum being sent in December or possibly in January.

Other Business: None.

Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 3:50 p.m.
