Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 1:06 p.m.

Critique of Subsections IV.2.5, IV.6, IV.5 and IV.1: The Committee completed review of 4.2.5, 4.6, and 4.5 with minimal changes and Subsection 4.5 will be completed on Monday, July 1st. The Committee suggested adding more content to a couple of sections and made some rewording and editing changes. The following are the Recommendation and Suggestion changes.

Recommendation 4.6 C: That the Divisions of Allied Health and Physical Education and Workforce Development and Education discontinue the policy of converting Continuing Education Units to semester credit hours and that this be reflected in the 2002-2003 catalog by deletion of the policy statement.

Change: Delete.

Recommendation 4.5 B: That the College integrate SACS and state-approved criteria for distance learning programs into the annual Institutional Effectiveness Action Plan.

Change: Delete "SACS and state-approved" and replace with "The Commission on Colleges".

Recommendation 4.5 B: That the College establish a centralized assessment method to assure appropriate use of technology in online and ITV courses.

Change: Delete.

Critiquing Schedule: Monday's meeting will cover the rest of 4.5 and will also include 6.1 and 6.4.

Other Business: Hummel wants to get Section II posted to the website as soon as possible. It is ready for G. Hall and M. Hall to review, after which Hummel and the Chair will review. If no further changes are needed, it will then be posted.
