Three Ways to Apply

  1. Print out the Police Academy Application, fill it out, mail it in or drop it off at the Academy.
  2. Fill out the Police Academy Application (pdf), print it, and mail it in or drop it off at the Academy.

  3. Come by the Police Academy pick up an application, fill it out or take it with you. Return it to the Academy.

Your application is NOT complete unless the academy has ALL of the below listed information prior to ending enrollment date.

  1. Signed Academy Application
  2. Birth Certificate
  3. High School Diploma, College Transcript, Military Records
    GED applicants MUST have 12 college hours (2.0 on 4.0 scale)
  4. Return of criminal history check Click here for the forms. (Mail to Austin)
  5. COMPASS test scores from Test Center (may be exempted if you have a degree)
