Texas Society for Respiratory Care Convention - 2005
SCOPE members participated in the State Convention's Sputum Bowl. With minimal preparation the team took to the competition and were undefeated going into the final round. The final round proved to be a tough competition. The team was up against student and pracitioner teams and held there own. When the final buzzer sounded the VC team was the second placed student team in the state and the fourth place overall team. Kudos to a job well done! The members also volunteered to work the convention lending a hand with registration. The event offered the members an excellent opportunity to network and get a first hand account of what is involved in such an undertaking as the state convention.
